Step-by-step
- Cleanse and moisturize face (and eyes!)
- Apply a primer to the face after the moisturizer has soaked in
- Use under eye corrector (if needed) and concealer
- Apply foundation after the primer has soaked in
- Once the foundation has set in a bit, apply a setting powder--I used the MUFE HD powder
- Prime the eyes with MAC's painterly paint pot
- On the inner corner of the eyes, use the gold part of MAC's mineralized eye shadow duo in Odd Couple
- For the outer corners, use the purple part of MAC's Odd Couple mineralized eye shadow duo
- Line the eyes with MAC's Pearl Glide Intense Eye Liner in Designer Purple (a fav!)
- Use the MAC 266 angled eye liner brush to make a very thin line between the eyelashes and the purple liner. I used Bobbi Brown's Caviar eye shadow for this step. (This will really make your lashes pop!)
- Then repeat steps 9 and 10 for the bottom lashes, but use a light hand and only line the outer half of your eye
- Next, apply a lengthening mascara and top it off with a thickening mascara. I applied the thickening to the bottom lashes too.
- Add some bronzer--I used NARS laguna!
- Put a pop of pink blush on the apples of your cheeks--I used Bobbi Brown Pale Pink
- Don't forget your lipstick and gloss--I used MAC Viva Gaga lipstick and Bobbi Brown blossom tint
This is an easy way to add subtle color into an everyday wearable look!
